Empact is a founder-led, specialist advisory with over two decades of experience addressing strategic challenges in complex and regulated environments - supporting organisations through growth, operating model and technology-driven change and transformation.

Prior to founding Empact, John spent over 15 years in Big 4 consulting at Director and Partner level, and has also held senior executive roles within global technology and innovation firms.

His work sits at the intersection of customer strategy and innovation, operational performance excellence, and championing the customer in responsible and scaled AI adoption.

John works as a strategic associate and can call upon a network of senior specialists as required. Engagements are selective, flexible, and designed to be hands-on in support of leadership - working directly or as a trusted associate to professional services firms.

Across his career, John has worked with organisations such as: Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest, Aviva, Brit insurance, Dixons Stores Group, Transport for London, York City Council, The Cooperative and the British Olympic Association.

John is London based with proud roots in the north of England. Outside of client work, he is a trustee of a mental health charity and is deeply interested in how organisations support people with complex needs.
